Last week Six Figure Moms Club sponsored a fabulous event in Orange county, The Next Generation in Work Flexibility. It was my intention yesterday to write a post about this terrific event and the fabulous women I encountered there. However, due to the Law of Attraction, that post has been detained a bit longer.
As some of you may remember, I have been salivating over tickets to Maria Shriver’s Women’s Conference since it went on sale and then subsequently sold out in less than three hours earlier this summer. I even wrote a post about it hoping Maria Shriver herself might read the post and provide a few lucky Six Figure Moms Club members with tickets. Nothing happened.
Tickets both went on sale and sold out yesterday for the 5th Annual Women’s Conference sponsored by Maria Shriver, California First Lady. Event announcements promise great things, ”conference attendees can expect the same empowering experiences, fascinating speaker pairings, and once-in-a-lifetime conversations that have become the conference’s trademark under Shriver’s leadership.”. The conference has an impressive lineup of speakers like Warren Buffet, Condoleeza Rice, Bono, Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Steinem, et al. There’s only one problem, you can’t get a ticket. So Mrs. Arnold Schwarzenagger, I respectfully request that you add day two as an encore. Although you can’t attend the main event, there are still two options for people interested in attending. You can add your name to a waiting list or buy a $20 ticket to A Night at the Village, a separate event the evening before featuring guest speaker Rachel Ray.
