I realize that I am reading this after the election, but I felt compelled to comment. During the course of the election when the subject of politics would come up, very often someone in the group would say that they could not vote for Obama because he scared them. Each time I would ask why? Without exception, the question would either not be answered or would be answered with some statement that made no sense, like "I don't know, he just does". I am not going to assume to know the real answer to the question. What I do know is that fear is very often unreasonable. Reasonable or not, fear is still a trap that is very difficult open.

Very sweet, very cool. A mom gets jiggy with tech stuff. And that must feel extra special to see her "follow" you.

I LOVE this. Funny...I gave my Mom my twitter password about a month ago. She's been enjoying getting to know my twitter friends. She's funny about sharing herself...I tried to encourage her to get an account of her own, but I think she prefers to watch. I am so looking forward to getting to know your Mom, Angie...and "@angiesmom" hope to get the opportunity to follow your tweets in the future! (I'm @zaellen, if you want to peek at mine :)

Thanks Angie, this really made my day when I read this, and yes Marilyn B. I'm VERY proud of my daughter and her accomplishments in life. To me it's not the big things in life, it's the 'little', 'personal' ones that makes my life complete! I have the most amazing daughter, granddaughter, and son in law in the world!! If you would have told me about about 5 or 6 years ago that I'd be the proudest 'Granny' on the block I'd have laughed and said "not me! I'm too young for that stuff".. right Angie?

What a sweet blog on your mom. She must be very proud of you. I haven't started to twitter yet. I am panting and puffing just keeping up with face book, squideo and the other social net works out there, but I am sure I will 'catch up' sometime.
I am writing a book on how to organize every room in your home for a publisher and that is keepin me extremely busy--I had no idea how time consuming writing a book could be. Thanks for your blog.
