Balance
Yes, just the word evokes feelings of inner peace and tranquility. An affirmation I will add to my daily routine, I enjoy finding balance in all areas of life!
As I was walking along Governor Dr. this morning, I was contemplating the same concept. I had dropped the kids to school, wanted to get in some exercise, thinking of the calls I needed to make for work, the laundry I needed to do.
What stopped my BUSY MIND from continuing were the beautiful American flags lining the street, waving proudly on the sides of the trees. These flags were hung to honor and commemorate September 11th and to remember the families and people who sacrificed so much for our country. I hope that they too can find balance in their lives today. To find joy and memory for all that they had and still have today. I pray for them and for those that were part of this fateful day.
Thank you for the reminder to find balance. I feel lucky to be a part of such a special day, time, place, and group.
Here's to remembering balance...because we can.
